I agree, minimalistic art DO rule. 
To your piece.. first, I really like it. Nice 3d, pretty trendy and I like the colors! The only suggestion I have is that the 3d seems a little bit small. If it reached the edges if the image, I presonally think it would look better. But that's just me, eh?
